The ENGAGE project addresses integration-related needs of third-country national (TCN) women, who typically face more barriers and challenges in their efforts to enter the labour market than TCN men.

PROJECT AIMS

To create social, cultural and employment pathways for the integration of migrant women in the host communities

Direct Target group:
TCN women and Labour Market Stakeholders (LMS).
Indirect Target groups:
TCNs, local citizens, professionals, policy makers, NGOs and general public

TPM1
First Transnational Project Meeting​

The kick-off meeting of the ENGAGE project took place virtually on March 10 and 11, 2021. All the participating organizations took part in a fruitful discussion related to the project’s main objectives and the next steps of implementation. Other aspects of the project such as the Quality Assurance and the Dissemination Plan were also discussed and agreed upon. More emphasis was given on the analysis of the first and the second Working Packages.

WP2: Up-Skilling Workshops for TCN women and Labour Market stakeholders (LMS)

Following the TPM1, the consortium set deadlines and started developing research methodology for the second Working Package.

The partners successfully carried out qualitative research activities (focus groups) and prepared relevant reports.

They are currently working on the development of the Capacity Building Material for Labour Market Stakeholders.
